Fishing and Diving Charters just north of Auckland

Slipray is a 50ft power catamaran specifically designed for line fishing and diving charters, with catering available and comfortable accomodation overnight trips in the hauraki gulf.  Based at Ti Point Leigh, and heading out to destinations such as Little and Great Barrier, the Mokohinaus (aka Mokes), Hen and Chickens, the Needles and other great destinations near Auckland.


Slipray is an extraordinary roomy vessel of 3 levels. The 23ft beam & full walk around deck allow plenty of room for comfortable fishing. Her cruising speed of 16 knots means less travelling time & more fishing time! There is a large fish box, which is fully iced, & a live bait tank. She boasts a fully equipped galley with gas cooking facilities, fridge & freezer.   Her spacious saloon area has internal access to a fully enclosed fly bridge, which allows for all round visibility & ample seating room. Accommodation

There are three single & one double berth in each hull. Two extra single berths are available in the saloon area. Crew accommodation is in the fly bridge.  There are two hot showers & toilets to make your trip more comfortable & enjoyable.  If your looking for accomodation for world cup 2011 consider staying with us.

Catering Services Cray

Slipray Charters also offer optional catering services on all trips. On day charters we can supply a cooked breakfast & lunches. On overnight charters, breakfast, lunch & dinner can be catered for. Anything from finger foods, to casual BBQ's, to fully catered trips can be arranged. Complimentary tea, coffee, milo & biscuits are supplied on all charters.

What to bring with you

Sun hats, sun block, warm clothing, sunglasses, Cold Drinks. Pillow & sleeping bag for overnight trips. Also remember the camera - for the one that didn't get away!!

Cancellations & Weather

If the trip has to be cancelled due to weather conditions or other safety concerns, you will be offered a rain date - subject to other existing bookings.
